Abstract

In reaction to the current fragmented, controlling and technological approach of crime prevention, we are developing a model for the contextual prevention of crime based on ethical and ecological considerations. Therefore we want to investigate, through the study of religious world views and the ecophilosophical literature, the concept of "connectedness' as a part of a larger frame of reference of "integration-disintegration". Four considerations form the basis of our approach.
