Abstract

Is there not some God, or some other being by whatever name we call it, who puts these reflections into my mind? (Descartes, 1641/1997b, §24) Thoughts are put into my mind like “Kill God”. It is just like my mind working, but it isn’t. They come from this chap, Chris. They are his thoughts. (Frith, 1992, p. 66)
