Abstract
About 50 years ago C.P. Snow delivered his famous lecture on the two cultures. We have to go about a hundred years back, however, to find similar landmarks in the history of the philosophy of time. At that moment three things happened that greatly influenced the philosophy of time in the twentieth century.
