In this and the chapter to follow we shall attempt to give a critical interpretation and appreciation of Husserl's philosophy of experience and reason. In doing so, we shall emphasize the reflective character of phenomenology more than its transcendental and purely descriptive characters. We hope thus to develop a "comprehensive" and less transcendental theory of a "critical reflective experience". In doing that we could hardly avoid a brief recapitulation of what has been said above on experience and reason.
