Phenomenology through vicarious experience

Herbert Spiegelberg

pp. 35-53

Abstract

By "phenomenology through vicarious experience" I understand a phenomenology which is based on what one sees not with one's own eyes, but with the eyes of others. How can this be done? More important, how can it be justified?
